Journeys - Adventures in life...

Journeys, Adventures in life..., was officially started in November of 2000 when we hit the road in our new 2001 Damon Intruder RV. Originally, the Journeys web site was very basic, focusing mostly on sharing our experiences via online Photo Albums, and was called Trippin' USA (named after one of Char's favorite Godsmack songs). As more photo albums were posted, the name Journeys seemed more appropriate and was it was changed in March of 2001.

In February of 2002, Journeys was given a complete overhaul and the following sections were added: Flashback of the Month, The Best Of..., and Reviews.

How is Journeys maintained?

The new Journeys Web Site was created and is maintained on a Dell Inspiron 8100 notebook computer, using Adobe PhotoShop for graphic editing, and Microsoft Notepad for all HTML programming. Most updates are made via FTP at modem-friendly campgrounds (usually a phone line in the central office, click the link and go to the bottom for an example). All of the photos in the Journeys Web Site have been taken with the Nikon Coolpix 990 Digital Camera.
