4/17/01 - Boating with Bob & Bea

Over the last few decades, Gramps (Bob) and Gramms (Bea) have always shared their boats with their family & friends. Up at Houghton Lake, it seemed as though every summer weekend we were boating or enjoying the water in some way. It felt great to be able to 'return the favor' by giving Gramps & Gramms the ability to enjoy the water down here in Florida. :)

The weather was 85' and clear - what a beautiful day for a memorable ride.

Thank you, Gramps & Gramms, for all of the wonderful memories up at Houghton Lake!

Before we left for our boat ride, we snapped a photo of Gramms 'in the Palm Trees by the river' -- what a cutie, eh?

After generously applying the sunscreen, Gramps & Gramms found their cozy seats in the bow of the boat.

Gramps says

"Hey Kid -- this is alright!"

Gramms says

"Wow! This is great -- I'm enjoying it immensely!"

Captain Tara was our skipper for the day -- she's becoming quite the pro ya know!

As we stopped to fill up, Gramps looked over the changes they have made in boats over the years.

Did you know that Gramps & Gramms owned a 24' Sea Ray in the 70's? ;)
