3/17/01 - Our First Boat & Ride

What a beautiful day to be out in the boat (and get sun-fried!) It was 87' and sunny on our first boat ride in our new 23' Sea Ray Bow Rider:

Boating around Fort Myers and the Caloosahatchee River is incredible. There are over 120 places (a third of which are only available by boat) that are within an hour to visit! Some of the popular places are North Captiva Island, Cabbage Key and Useppa Island.

Today we boated out by Sanibel Island, then up to Useppa Island, turned around and went up the Caloosahatchee River to US-41. On the way back, we weaved our way back to our house and waved at Becky & Peanut!

We will definitely take pictures of adventures we take on the water.

The following pictures were taken while Tara was driving us in the "No Wake" zone back to the marina where our boat lives. ;)
