12/12/00 - Camping in Naples & Sweet Tomatoes Here we are RVin' at the KAO Kampground which was 10 miles southeast of Naples, and about 9 miles north of Marco Island. The campground had Kamping Kabins (which most KOA Kampgrounds have) for those who just want to get away, but don't want to tent or don't have an RV. The campground was nice, it had a jacuzzi, and a heated pool! Later in the evening, we went to Sweet Tomatoes, which is now Charly's favorite place! Sweet Tomatoes is 'The Salad Buffet Restaurant' and has all sorts of good things to try -- if you happen to see one in your travels and like soups, salads, and pasta, give it a try!

Since the area we were in was close to sea level (about 8' above sea level) quite a few of the houses and buildings in the area are on stilts.	Another view of the Kamping Kabins.
Later in the evening, we went to Sweet Tomatoes -- YUMMY! This one is on US 41 near Fort Myers.	If you like soups, salads and pasta, this is the sign to look for!
