11/24/00 - Busch Gardens with Pa & the Crew Busch Gardens was a blast! The weather was nice, and we had a good time. Busch Gardens is a little over an hour from the Orlando area, and is located in Tampa. For those of you who have never been to Busch Gardens, it is basically a mix between a zoo and an amusement park. Definitely plan on spending a full day if you go.
Welcome to Busch Gardens!	"Hello, my name is Carlos, and I will be your host today!" Pa said in a Mexican accent. :)	"Ouwwee! The gator is biting my finger!" Adam says...
"Peace, my monkey friends..." Katelyn says...	Lookin' up!!	High five! Ma boyee!
The photo does not do this guy justice, he was quite big, and seemed to enjoy laying around in front of an audience...	"Ahh, that's better!"	"Watchu lookin' at boyee? I'll eatchu!"
This 'gator was about 10' long, and can move up to 30 mph. Theory states that if you are chased by a 'gator, your chances of survival go up if you run in a zig-zag pattern...	This tortoise was about 3' long, the only way we could tell it was alive was when it blinked.	"Ewww!" Adam says... "That's stinky..."
We ate lunch at Das Festhaus by the Dolphin show, and after lunch that had some entertainment for us!	The Dolphin Show rules! Be sure to check it out if you ever visit Busch Gardens! HINT: Sit back at least 5 rows if you don't want to get wet.	WE FOUND TONY THE TIGER - He's at Busch Gardens!
A couple of white tigers hangin' out...	"Hello, we are your hosts, Filipe and La Quinta."	Now these birds were big, they stood about 6' tall.
Before Adam, Kate, and Tara rode the Python...	after Adam, Kate, and Tara rode the Python.	The black monkeys were super entertaining.
Someone is not feeling to social, check out 'em on the left under the palm branch...	Pretty birds... Pretty birds... AHH! They all only have one leg! (Nah, they have two, one is tucked up...)	This little guy was about 4" tall...
We were able to get really close to these two...	More one-legged birds! ;)	Cool Peacock!
Mr. Pelican cleans his area, as Mrs. Pelican looks on...	Mr. Kangaroo wasn't too social, seemed to enjoy just layin' 'round in the warm weather.	Whoa! Adam's head is shrinking!

The Hyena's were cleaning themselves...	Nice kitties... NICE kitties...	The hippos were quite active...
...they did a few laps in the water...	...and then took a break.	" KISS THIS - You freaks! " he yelled!
We didn't get to ride the train, but here is a picture of it for you!	We all rode the carousel...	...yep, even Adam...
...and Pa!	They're laughing because Pa unknowingly picked the only animal that doesn't go up and down on the ride!	Pa mentions he's about to puke (seriously!)
"YEE HAW!! I'm a cowboy!" Adam yells.	Tara, Kate and Adam ride the spinning up and down ride...	...and no one puked!
