11/14/00 - Bob & Bea's Resort

Our second day of travel proved to be quite a bit tougher than the first, as we hit the top-ranked traffic city of the world - Atlanta - just as rush (four to seven) hour was beginning. For the record, no Michigan traffic even compares to Atlanta. Picture waiting 10 to 20 minutes just to exit Wal-Mart because there are so many cars.

Sticking to the rules we developed the day before, getting through Atlanta was no problem. It was interesting at times (Peanut kept trying to navigate while blocking the mirrors with her head ;).

We pulled in to Gramps & Gramms place at about 7pm, it was dark and pouring rain. No problem, the rehearsing done in Michigan at night, paid off. :)

The day after we arrived, clear & sunny, here is the entrance to Bob & Bea's resort.

Taking the girls for a walk, they got to meet their cousin Muffy -- they got along great.

Did we mention clear & sunny?

A nice level cement pad for the beast! All part of the man's plan!

Is that Peanut in the window?

"Here's how ya coil wire ma boyee! Umm humm!"

"Soon, grasshopper, you too know the ways of the RV!
Now, wax on, wax off!"

A big Thank You to Gramps & Gramms for showing us shortcuts that you only learn from experience.

Notice -- two hands on the keyboard, not too shabby for a former one-finger typist!
