Monday, August 16, here's what we see as we drive down I-75 through Port Charlotte - devastation as far as we can see. Trees with very little leaves, absolutely no highway signs.

And we're home! Some palm frons lay over the walkway. Interestingly, there were little pieces of leaves plastered all over the house and garage.

Yep, there's a driveway under those tree branches. Charly chainsawed the trees for a couple of hours to clear out a path for our motorhome and Jeep.
